If you're working in a large class or group, divide up into several teams. Each team has to tell a story which contains the same events, but in a different way.

Taking the example of the story of 'Little Red Riding Hood', you could have the choices of:
Form/genre: thriller, romantic comedy, news report, advertisement
Viewpoint: the wolf, Grandma, the woodsman, Little Red Riding Hood, a neutral observer
