This one-day workshop is aimed at helping new Media and Film Studies teachers to introduce their students to good practice in film-making.

The course will take students through a complete short film-making process, from storyboard to editing, using our cameras and Mac laptops. (We can work on your equipment if you prefer).

The workshop will cover

• narrative and film language in short films
• guidelines for scripting and storyboarding
• planning and organising the filming
• shooting good-quality images and sound
• organising the edit
• editing for pace and continuity
