We’ve been involved in a number of research projects, including Becta’s DV Pilot project. Tom Barrance visited and filmed in a number of the schools, and wrote material for the CD-ROM publication.

In the early 1990s we undertook a series of Welsh Office funded action research projects on how media education could be used within the National Curriculum, followed by our 1997 report Media education in Wales.

Film education training research
We’ve been awarded a tender by the Film Agency for Wales to investigate training needs for film education in Wales.
The aim is to develop accredited training, both for those with some expertise or experience, and for those who work with children and young people and would like to learn about using film and film-making.
