This is an ongoing project involving ten Primary schools in and around Hereford. It’s being co-ordinated from the Courtyard Theatre with funding from Screen West Midlands, Herefordshire LEA and the HEARTS Partnership. Children are making short films within Literacy at Key Stage 2.

We ran training for the teachers (covering teaching film language, organising a film-making project, filming and editing). We also delivered two half-day introductions to film language at the Courtyard for all the children (around 300). We’ve been involved in mentoring schools, helping them to turn a story into a script and to organise their filming and editing.

The films will be screened at the Odeon in Hereford in July.
